Loving my May Ipsy Bag

For $10/month, you are truly getting your money's worth from this May Ipsy Bag.  If you're unfamiliar with Ipsy, it is a monthly beauty subscription.  You get 4-5 beauty products that range from skincare, hair, nail and makeup products.  You fill out a quiz prior to being a subscriber and that quiz determines what goodies will go in your monthly bags.  I love how it caters to everyone's preferences!

I've been questioning the bags lately since there have been more sample sizes than full-sized products.  Because it's $10/month, we can't expect every product to be full-sized, however, I was hoping that there would be at least 1-2 full-sized products.  But this month's bag has really stepped it up.  The goodies are all products that I can absolutely see myself using now and even in later seasons.

I'm excited to use my Zoya Nail Polish in "Neely," which is perfect for any season.  I'm really looking forward to the lip gloss by Juice Beauty in "Champagne" and the Mirabella Lipstick in "Daydream."  I am one satisfied subscriber and I can't wait for what's in store the next few months.  If you'd like to see my unboxing, you can click on my video down below.  Hope you find it helpful!  Have a great day!

May Ipsy Products:
-Yaby Concealer "Buff"
-Zoya Nail Polish "Neely"
-Mirabella Lipstick

Simple How To Do A Winged Eyeline

Hey everyone!  So I've been so busy that I've neglected my blogging a bit.  I apologize and will work on this at least once a week (crossing fingers).

I decided to write more frequent posts about some simple basic tutorials.  With so many past videos on my LearnWithMinette YouTube Channel, I decided to bring some old tutorials back to life for those that may need a little help.  Here's my "How To Do A Winged Eyeline" tutorial where I use an easy Milani liquid pen to create the simple look.

You can use an eye pencil, liquid eyeliner, gel, or eyeshadow to create any eye line.  It really all depends on your preference and what you find to be easy for you.  I love using pencil and gel the most.  But, this Milani Eye Tech Extreme Liquid Eyeliner makes it so easy so I decided to do a quick tutorial on it.  Hope you find it helpful!!

FreeAndLovingLife Jewelry & GIVEAWAY

I absolutely love subtle jewelry pieces and I was so excited to get my new jewelry from FreeAndLovingLife in the mail.  From the packaging, to the choice of brand name, and the quality of each piece, I am so completely giddy and impressed over my new collection!

The packaging:
It's so delicate and soft.  I love the simplicity of the box and the rope around it!  The package itself won my heart!  I didn't even want to untie the rope!

The brand:
If you follow me on Instagram, you may already know that I LOVE LIFE, period.  I love the people, the food, the objects, and anything and everything that makes my world go round!  I love this brand and the name that was chosen.  The signature feather on the box as well as well as the tiny feather found in every bracelet symbolizes the free-spirited, loving nature of the brand.  This is right up my alley!  It makes me smile from ear to ear.

My pieces:
I don't think I can explain in words how beautiful these pieces are, so instead, I've decided to just showcase them.  It is very evident that each piece is made with love.  I could sense that when I received my box.  I looked forward to trying on each piece and searching for the signature feather that comes with each bracelet!  They are simple - yet they make a statement.  I can't wait to incorporate them in my outfits of the day!

Giveaway Time:
Freeandlovinglife was so kind to sponsor a giveaway and I'm so excited to share it here as well as my YouTube.  I would love to send a huge thank you to the creator of these pieces.  What an awesome collaboration this has been!  I hope you all get a chance to check out the video so that you may get a clearer sense of the pieces.  With my videos, I also tend to explain more in detail what my thoughts are about any review - fashion or beauty-related topics.  I chose my two absolute favorite pieces as a giveaway and I am so grateful to have opportunities such as this where I can give products away to my friends and viewers!  Below are my fave pieces!

Infinity bracelets and necklaces are such a trend right now.
I'm loving how this neon pink/coral bracelet will
look great with our spring and summer outfits!
I am in love with royal blue and gold.  I love this combination
and there's a goldfish which has various symbolisms.  I'd like
to think that my goldfish symbolizes knowledge and happiness!

MINETTE STARLOOKS SIGNATURE SET AVAILABLE NOW!

Yay!  My Minette Starlooks Signature Set is finally out!  I'm so excited that I had to blog about this.  I was given a great opportunity to work with Starlooks on creating a customized set of some of my favorite products.  My jaw dropped when they told me I could choose from several products and basically play with makeup!

The set consists of three eye products: infinity pot liner, medium angled brush, and a kohl eye pencil.  When I was asked to think about my favorite types of makeup products, I immediately thought of eyeliner!  I can't complete a look without a winged eye line (whether it's black, brown, or any fun color variation).  So for all those who love makeup and the eyeliner junkies such as myself, here's a unique way to celebrate the winged look.

You can find an exact step by step tutorial on how I achieved this look.
Be sure to check the video below this post.
It's a subtle eye line that goes great with all neutral looks!

The Infinity Pot Liner "Sculpture" is a gunmetal, taupe kind of color.  It's so beautiful that it leaves a bit of mystery on the eye while creating a subtle eye line.  It can also serve as an eyeshadow base or even as eyeshadow alone.  It's a beautiful, smooth pigment.  The medium angled brush is perfect for eyebrows, creating an eye line or using as a smudge brush on the lower lash line.  I really love how functional it can be!  And last but not least, is the black kohl pencil in "Onyx."  It's silky smooth and so completely black.  I love the consistency of it and found my new favorite black eyeliner!  I use it with the angled brush to create a more precise look!

I am so grateful that I have an amazing husband, family and friends who continue to support me on my passion for all things beauty related.  Believing in yourself is beautiful, but, being surrounded by love is the best feeling in the world.  Thank you to everyone who continually gives me the best gift in the world!

Below are all the details on Starlooks as well as my video on how to apply these three favorites.   I hope that you find this helpful!  Thanks so much for your support!

Loving E.L.F. Products

When I first started out with makeup, one of the brands that really helped to broaden my collection were my E.L.F products.  Not only are they easily accessible at Target stores, but, they are absolutely affordable.

When my friend, Leeshy, who is LeeshyEternally on YouTube bought me some E.L.F goodies for Christmas, I decided to play around with my new palette and create a full face tutorial using as many E.L.F. products as I could.  The results were great!  I love the eye look that I came up with and I think this look could cater to a lot of women and various styles.  I hope that you enjoy the tutorial below if you're interested to learn how I achieved the look.  As always, all information will be listed.  Hope this inspires you to recreate the look, shop for some E.L.F products or rediscover products that you may already have in the comfort of your vanity area.  Happy Makeup!
